Carpul Tunnel

Were you looking for information on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Carpul tunnel is a common misspelling of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a progressive, painful condition caused a compression of the median nerve at the wrist. When the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, is pinched at the wrist, less blood and nutrients flow to it. This causes pain, numbness, and weakness in the fingers and thumb. As symptoms worsen, it may become difficult to form a fist, grasp small objects, or perform manual tasks.
