Carpal tunnel treatment includes non-surgical and surgical methods. Non-surgical methods generally include medications (such as corticosteroids), exercise or physical therapy, and alternative therapies (such as acupuncture or even yoga). The other common treatment is surgery, of which there are two different types: open release and endoscopic. Recurrence of carpal tunnel syndrome following treatment is rare.
