Carpul Tunel

Were you looking for information about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Carpul tunel is a common misspelling and variation of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is an illness affecting the hand and wrist. It occurs when the median nerve (which runs from the forearm into the hand) is compressed. As the nerve is squeezed, less blood and nutrients flow to it, causing pain, numbness, and weakness in the fingers and thumb. Carpal tunnel syndrome usually occurs only in adults, and women are three times more likely than men to develop the condition.
